Who we are

View of Dudley Castle

The Dudley & South Staffordshire Campaign for Real Ale is a local branch affiliated to the national Campaign for real ale.

Our area in the north stretches from the border between Wolverhampton & Sedgley, and the southern limit between Rowley Regis & Halesowen.

The western limit is from Enville & Kinver in South Staffs to West Bromwich and Smethwick to the east.

Our aim is to promote Real Ale and to help you to discover the best places to try them.

Every three months we co-produce with Stourbridge Branch a newsletter called Ales & Tales that can be obtained from many pubs free of charge.

We hold a Winter Ales Festival every November at Dudley Concert Hall, with as many as 60 Real Ales with a comprehensive range of German beers and food available at all sessions. Details can be found on the Beer Festival tab above.

Branch meetings are held every month at different pubs in our area where we discuss local and national issues and of course enjoy some of the real ales.

We also hold a range of social events throughout the year including local pub crawls to visiting other Beer Festivals and a specially organised trip to the Great British Beer Festival held at Earls Court London in August.
