Who are we then?

If you're looking at this site it probably means you've heard of CAMRA or the CAMpaign for Real Ale already.
If you want to find out more about the aims of CAMRA then you may as well take a look at the National CAMRA site.

At a local level we have a number of people who have volunteered to take on various roles within the branch and this list should help you find out who you might want to contact in regard to different aspects of what we get up to.

Joining CAMRA

If you are not already a member of CAMRA, you can join on-line.

There are many reasons to join us.

For one thing you get a discounted or free entry to many beer festivals around the country.

Some pubs offer discounted beer to CAMRA members!

You can get involved in putting on festivals.

You can influence the choice of pubs which are entered in the Good Beer Guide.

We hold regular pub crawls, games nights, exchange visits and trips to breweries and cities all over the country.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to grow a beard and smoke a pipe, just enjoy drinking Real Ale!
