Winter Ales Fayre 2003
Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th November 2003
Dudley Town Hall
Our 18th Winter Ales Fayre, was held in the Town Hall.
The logo celebrated 75 years of entertainment at the Town Hall.
There were 64 traditional Real Ales to choose from, both old and
new favourites, alongside the higher gravity winter seasonal beers, plus
a modest range of cider and wine.
Once again from Friday evening our range of draught beer was enhanced
by the addition of Bavarian bottled beers.
Beer of the Festival (Winter Ales Fayre) was a tie between Robinsons
Old Tom and Jarrow Rivet Catcher. Trips to present the awards
will be arranged in March and April.
The winner of the West Midlands Winter Ale of the Year was Titanic
Wreckage.
The winner of West Midlands Beer of the Year overall was Old
Swan Entire.
